Binance is regularly reviewing its product offerings. As part of this process, Binance Pay will gradually stop supporting Pay ID starting August 6, 2024 (UTC).
Sending and receiving crypto using Binance ID, email, or phone number will remain unaffected. To ensure a smooth transition, we encourage users to switch to these alternative Binance Pay methods.
This change aims to simplify Binance Pay and enhance user experience.
By streamlining the payment process and focusing on core functionalities, we believe this adjustment will make Binance Pay more intuitive and efficient for all users. We understand that changes can be disruptive, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Our team is committed to providing comprehensive support throughout the transition period.
If you have any questions or require assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact our customer support. We appreciate your understanding and continued trust in Binance Pay.
Affected Binance Pay features include Send, Send Multiple, Merchant Platform Single Payout, and Merchant Platform Batch Payout, will no longer support Pay ID as a payment method. These features have been widely used by both individual users and businesses to send cryptocurrency quickly and securely. The discontinuation of Pay ID support will require users to adjust their payment workflows and explore alternative methods provided by Binance Pay.
Please note that historical Pay ID transactions will be preserved. You can access these records by going to [Pay] > [Transaction History].
The Merchant Payout API will continue to support Pay ID for the time being. However, we recommend transitioning to other available options as soon as possible.
